Text Box: The Higher Irlam Social is a non political and non religious, purely a social club and when opened in 1947 proved to be a great success, due mainly to the hard work and dedication of the committee and the appreciation of its rapidly increasing number of members.   Irlam

William Hayes, Ernie Taylor
and the founder members, who in 1947 created the Soc for the people of Irlam.
